A multitude of online retailers have the Samsung Galaxy W available for pre-order, but Amazon is the only one brave enough to hazard a guess at its release date at this point. He believes the Samsung Galaxy W will land on September 28. Waitaminute ... it's Wednesday!

Amazon offers the Samsung Galaxy W for 269.99 pounds, as Play.com. Expansys is a little more to 284.99 pounds.

The Samsung Galaxy W is not quite in the same league as the Galaxy II S, it will probably go head to head with the HTC Desire and S al. It has a 3.7in screen, single-core 1.4GHz, 5MP camera and 1500mAh battery with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and Sammie TouchWiz 4.0.

We also heard that O2 will carry the Samsung Galaxy W. He currently appears on the Coming Soon page with an ETA of September. Hey, not long before October.
